Stanton Mark V MM Cartridge

The Stanton Mark V is a very rare NOS (New Old Stock) cartridge originally intended for broadcast and DJ use. But the fine sound provided by the elliptical D5 stylus has also made this cartridge a little gem amongst vinyl enthusiasts.

And an original D5 stylus is what this NOS Stanton Mark V comes with. Stanton Mark has the universal ½-mount for convenient mounting in most headshells.

The Stanton Mark V with the D5 elliptical stylus performs at its best in light to medium mass tonearms and has a recommended tracking force of 1-3 gram.

Stanton lovers will know that the needles for this series (Stanton Mark V and Stanton 500) were build with a short cantilever which ensures the great dynamic of this cartridge and the full and rich mid-range but also requires some accuracy when adjusting the tracking force and tracking angle.
