The JICO J50 is designed for the Audiophile/Record Listening Enthusiast.
This cartridge is the outcome of various experiments conducted during the production of phono cartridges following the J44 models. Molded from the J44, the J50 introduces a more powerful “PUNCH” to the low end output, providing a full thick sound to the bass of what is reproduced from a record groove. This leads to a rich fat sound to the kick, bassline, and background subs with keeping the highs and mids untouched and clean.
The J50 comes in a calm transparent brown body. Various kits are available that features 1 to 3 separate styli. These kits provide the best opportunity to experience the variety of reproduced sounds that the JICO CUSTOM SHOP collection has to offer. Available styli for the J50 are the “N-44-7 IMP NUDE”, and the MORITA wood cantilever models – “N44 KUROGAKI” and “N44 USHIKOROSHI”.
