Audio Technica AT-XP7 is the top of the line of the new Audio Technica series specially designed for DJs. It has a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical bonded stylus mounted on an aluminium tapered pipe cantilever and has excellent tracking ability, fidelity and reliable performance.
It is available in two versions
AT-XP7 - cartridge only without headshell (half-inch mount allows convenient mounting in most headshells)
AT-XP7/H - cartridge factory pre-mounted in Audio Technica AT-HS6BK Headshell

The new highly-rigid polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)/glass fiber body cartridge and stylus design of the Audio Technica XP series provides maximum visibility of the stylus tip for convenient DJ working conditions.
All the Audio Technica XP styli are interchangeable and as a bonus feature, the needles of the Audio Technica AT-VM95 HiFi cartridge can also be used with the Audio Technica XP series which has a higher and more powerful output than the VM95 series which gives a more punchy sound. This offers a wide choice of options for every budget and sound adaptation.
The recommended tracking force of the Audio Technica AT-XP7 / AT-XP7/H is 2g - 4g (optimum 3g) and the output level is 6 mV which is the highest output of all the Audio Technica AT-XP models.
