Audio Technica AT-OC9XSL MC Cartridge

Top of the line of the Audio Technica OC9 series is the AT-OC9XSL. The Audio Technica AT-OC9XSL has the very fine Special Line Contact stylus tip, developed by Audio Technica, that delivers a warm, transient and vivid sound.

The nude Special Line Contact diamant stylus tip of the Audio Technica AT-OC9XSL is mounted on a 0.28 mm diameter solid boron cantilever. 

The Dual Moving Coil technology of the Audio Technica AT-OC9XSL is designed to provide outstanding channel separation. The Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting (PCOCC) coils ensure pure audio transmission and are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation to exert less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion.

Audio Technica AT-OC9XSL has the universal ½”-mount and threaded inserts in the cartridge body, which enable the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell with just two screws.

We recommend around 20 hours break-in.
