The 2200 features a bonded elliptical diamond stylus and alumite cantilever which offers higher definition and improved transient response when compared to a conventional cantilever and spherical stylus. Because of their high output, Goldring 2000 series cartridges should be used with the standard moving magnet phono input of an integrated amplifier.
