DT-Z1S Stylus for Z-1S / Z-1SR
The Z-1S variant of Z-1 was hugely popular and still in use all over the World today. Originally fitted with a 0.6 mil spherical tip. Recommended tracking force is 1,5g–2,0g both on the original and the excellent aftermarket styli available today.

DT-Z1 Stylus for Z-1
JVC's Z-1 cartridge was fitted with the Shibata stylus DT-Z1. While the original had a Berrylium cantilever today's Shibata replacement have an aluminium alloy cantilever. One can consider JICO's SAS replacement with a Boron cantilever an upgrade both over the original DT-Z1 and other aftermarket options.

Upgrade stylus for JVC Z-1 Series (All variants)
JICO’s premium SAS replacements for the Z-1 cartridge series are available in two versions—DT-Z1E and DT-Z1EB. While they differ in color and labeling, the styli themselves are identical in construction and performance. Both versions are fully compatible with all Z-1 cartridges and represent a significant upgrade over the original stylus.
