National - Technics Stylus Replacements
The National/Technics EPC-24 family of cartridges comprises numerous variants, like the p-mount/t4p EPC-P24 and EPC-P24S and the universal mount EPC-U24 (EPC-P24 with a t4p to ½-inch adapter). Any EPS-24CS or EPS-24ES replacement or original needle will fit a cartridge in the EPC-24 family.
EPS-24CS Stylus for Technics EPC-P24S
When fitted with a spherical EPS-24CS stylus an EPC-P24 body becomes the EPC-P24S t4p cartridge. This is the most common variant of the EPC-P24 family, and it was factory mounted on the Technics SL-BD20, BD210, L3, DL5, and BL3 turntables.

EPS-24ES Stylus for Technics EPC-P24
If the elliptical EPS-24ES stylus is fitted to the EPC-P24 body, the cartridge becomes the EPC-P24 (without suffix). This cartridge is quite rare and may only have been sold as a standalone upgrade or replacement option for existing owners of t4p turntables. Due to the exceptional quality of the original Technics elliptical needles a nude elliptic option may be the replacement option that brings you closest to the sound of the original EPC-P24.
