The Ortofon FF15 cartridge family was the entry level offering in the original Ortofon Variable Magnetic Shunt (VMS) cartridge lineup. Like the better F15 family it offered two variants, one spherical and one elliptical, based on the same cartridge body. The body was the same as the one for the FF15 series, but the offered styli were less compliant than those offered for the F15 family.

Spherical NF15 Stylus for Ortofon FF15

The spherical version of the FF15 was just called FF15. the recommended tracking force was 1g - 3g. A much less compliant version was released as the Ortofon FF15BC. This variant tracked at 6g - 8g.
