The JICO IMPACT cartridge uses the same body as the J44 models but the output of the sound is more powerful in the low end, providing a wider thick bass compared to the J44 models.
The IMPACT is more suggested for the Club DJ (mix, blend) over the DJ that scratches/beat juggles due to the overpower bass sound. Scratching is not recommended, since this will have an overwhelming sound on the output, as there is too much bass.
The IMPACT has the same specs as the J44A 7/J44D DJ IMP NUDE, in terms of tracking force. Thanks to the JICO S Type cantilever, the stylus will stick to the records during DJ play.
Overall, the IMPACT has a thicker, cleaner bass sound as compared to the J44A 7 DJ IMP NUDE. The IMPACT cartridge sounds great with House, Dub, Techno, Big Beat, Drum and Bass, Acid Jazz etc.
