National - Technics Stylus Replacements
The National/Technics EPC-440 family of cartridges comprises numerous variants, like the EPC-440C, the EPC-441C and the EPC-442C. The body is identical to (and therefore compatible with) that of the EPC-270 family, but the original stylus was the 4-channel QUADRATIP (Akin to Shibata) EPS-440QD. For your convenience we have categorized all of our available replacements below.
EPS-440QD Stylus for National/Technics EPC-440C / 441C /442C
The original EPS-440QD stylus was optimized to reproduce frequencies up to 40kHz thereby allowing quadraphonic playback. It is no longer available, but you can get close to the same sound quality using our Hyperelliptical replacement from Tonar. Our highly optimized JICO SAS replacements will allow you to reach an even higher level of performance than the original.
