Shure DC 50 Cartridge

Again one of our fine New Old Stock vintage cartridges. The Shure DC50 in Original Box with 3 styli. Shure's DC 50 cartridge is an Elliptical cartridge that was targeting the disco and broadcast audience. However, like the Shure DC60 this T4P mount Shure DC50 with glow blue stylus house will perform very well hifi-wise, because of the fine elliptical stylus and the low recommended tracking force of 1,0 - 1,5 grams.

Like the ½” mount sibling Shure DC60, the DC50 soundwise has the warm open Shure house sound with lots of micro dynamics and drive, characteristic for the Shure disco and broadcast models. With a T4P adapter you can also use this cartridge in a headshell with ½” SME mount.

One of the SS50 styli is already mounted to the cartridge body and in addition 2 spare styli are included in the box. Since this is a NOS item, the box may show signs of long time storage. The Shure DC50 cartridge is sold as long as stock lasts.
