Excel (Fox) QD-700 E

The Japanese brand Excel has produced many cartridges over the years also as OEM versions for many other companies. 

The Excel QD700 and ES70 models are famous for providing high quality sound for a reasonable price. Both models are legendary when it comes to delivering an open and broad soundstage even with a conical stylus tip.

The Excel QD700E has an elliptical stylus for even better high frequency reproduction combined with the warm and full midrange of the Excel house sound. The bass is firm and precise. This is really a good entry level moving magnet cartridge.

This NOS Excel QD700E cartridge comes packed in bulk in a Tonar box.

Excel QD700E has the universal ½”-mount. We recommend around 20 hours break-in.
