Shure BC-70 Broadcast

Ruggedness and high-fidelity were the main focus points when Shure produced the BC cartridge series in the late 80’s targeting broadcast stations. Already the spherical version, Shure BC70 has high-fidelity virtues, due to a flat frequency response. The Masar stylus polish method was copied from V15 models in order to obtain the best sound quality.

The Shure BC70, BC80 and BC90 can all be used for back cuing if wanted.

The Shure BC70 has the ½” mount and comes in an original box with 3 styli. One of the SS70 styli is already mounted to the cartridge body and 2 spare styli are included. Since this is a NOS item, the box may show signs of long time storage. The Shure BC70 cartridge is sold as long as stock lasts.
