The Ortofon F15 family of cartridges was a mid-range implementation of the Ortofon Variable Magnetic Shunt (VMS) system. Many variants were offered over time, e.g. the F15, F15E, F15O, F15S, and F15EO. But essentially the cartridge came in two configurations, spherical or elliptical, using the same cartridge body. The main difference to the slightly more entry-level FF15 series was that the original styli were more compliant than those offered for the FF15.

Spherical N15 Stylus for Ortofon F15

The spherical version of the F15 was sometimes just called F15, but variants were released under the names F15S and F15O as well. Our N15 stylus replacements will work in all of these. The recommended tracking force is 1g - 2g.

Elliptical N15E Stylus for Ortofon F15E

The elliptical variant was called F15E, but an F15EO variant has also been produced. The N15E stylus replacements that we recommend will work in both. The recommended tracking force is 1g - 2g.
